Who’s it for?

This three-day programme is designed for Higher Education Professionals and partners with specific responsibilities in Safeguarding (DSO, DSL, Heads of Service, Directors), to give them the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a student’s life and ensure their institution or organisation is compliant with regulatory requirements. Further, in-depth analysis of the Duty of Care and the Prevent Duty is explored through case studies and regulatory guidance.

Certification

  • Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded a HEDSO® Certification.

  • Learners operating in England shall also receive an FAA Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults.

  • Each learner shall receive, upon completion, a digital badge identifying them as HEDSO® Certified.

Age restrictions

Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon programme commencement.

Course numbers

A maximum of 12 learners can be accommodated on this programme.

£695 (+VAT) per learner (prior to any discounts being applied)
