This three-day programme is designed for Higher Education Professionals and partners with specific responsibilities in Safeguarding (DSO, DSL, Heads of Service, Directors), to give them the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a student’s life and ensure their institution or organisation is compliant with regulatory requirements. Further, in-depth analysis of the Duty of Care and the Prevent Duty is explored through case studies and regulatory guidance.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded an FAA Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults as well as a HEDSO® certification.
Each learner shall also receive, upon completion, a digital badge identifying them as HEDSO® certified.
Age restrictions
Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon programme commencement.
